Who we are
Yepdose is published by Pritesh Singh, an independent developer in India ("we"). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
Not medical advice
Yepdose is a reminder and record-keeping tool. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not tell you what to take or when; you enter that yourself from your prescription or your clinician's directions. Medicine names, strengths and label text shown by medicine lookup come from public US government sources (NIH RxNorm and openFDA) and are shown for information only. They may be incomplete, out of date or not applicable where you live. Always follow your doctor or pharmacist, and in an emergency call your local emergency number.
Reminders can fail
Reminders are delivered by your device's notification system. They can be delayed or silenced by a Focus, Do Not Disturb, Low Power Mode, a switched-off or uncharged device, notification settings, or a software fault. Caregiver alerts also depend on iCloud and an internet connection. Do not rely on Yepdose as your only safeguard for a medicine where a missed or late dose is dangerous.
Your data
There is no account. Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for keeping your device secure, and for choosing who you share a profile with. A person you share with can see that profile's medicines and dose history, and can log doses if you allow it.
What is free, and Yepdose Family
The basics are free: unlimited medicines, reminders and profiles, widgets, the Apple Watch app, history, import and iCloud sync of your own data. Yepdose Family is an optional purchase that adds caregiver sharing and alerts, PDF and CSV reports, medicine lookup and refill reminders. It is sold as a yearly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase, at the price shown in the app before you buy.
Subscriptions and billing
Purchases are made through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple Account. The yearly subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel it at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Family features stay available until the end of the period you paid for, and the free features and your data are unaffected. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com. Use Restore purchase on the Family screen to recover a purchase on a new device.
Acceptable use
Use Yepdose for personal, lawful purposes. Do not reverse engineer it, resell it, or use it to track someone without their knowledge and consent.
Our rights
The app, its name, design and code belong to us and are licensed to you, not sold, for use on Apple devices you own or control under the App Store's usage rules. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard licensed application end user licence agreement applies.
No warranty
Yepdose is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every reminder will be delivered.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for harm arising from a missed, late or incorrect reminder or record. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Yepdose in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms with the right to enforce them.
Changes and ending
We may update the app and these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. You can stop using Yepdose at any time by deleting it. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any mandatory protection of the country where you live.
